NestSTEPS®

Retention begins at home

The solution

A benefit for all

NestSTEPS is flexible enough to support the broadest range of employees — from first-time buyers to those already on the path to financial stability. The program takes a three-tiered approach.

Tier 1 — System & tools

The Home Savings Plan

Through our automated platform, combined with personalized equity and cashflow planning, employees accelerate home savings. The platform is goal-based, behavior-driven, and team-oriented.

  1. Establish a personalized cashflow plan

Our equity architects guide each employee to define income and expenses, creating a customized cashflow plan.

  2. Accelerate savings

Instead of routing income into a default checking account, funds are first deposited into a separate, FDIC-insured bank account. Equity architects then help employees set up automated flows that keep savings on track.

Tier 2 — Contribution model

Contribution planning

Eligible employees who complete the program and purchase through a NestSTEPS-affiliated agent can receive up to $1,000 toward their home. Those who also finance through our preferred lending partner may be eligible for up to $1,000 more, for up to $2,000 combined.

  1. Set contribution amounts that align with budgets, workforce size, and program objectives.

  2. Define eligibility criteria, such as program completion or tenure.

  3. Decide on payment frequency — quarterly, annual, milestone-based, or on home purchase.

  4. Model return on investment by projecting the reduction in turnover costs relative to program expenses.

Tier 3 — Education

Meaningful education

We work with you to schedule one or more cohorts per quarter. Each cohort includes a series of onsite and virtual workshops:

  1. Current market conditions — and how to avoid the costly, common mistakes of homebuying

  2. How to leverage the Home Savings Plan to accelerate home buying

  3. Financing options that improve buying position

  4. Strategies to ensure the value of your home continues to grow and provide financial security

  5. How real estate can support your long-term financial goals

  6. Combining strategies and tools to make smart decisions and drive financial wellbeing

Plus ongoing 1:1 support from our licensed professionals — every quarter, for every cohort.
